SPORTS CAMPS

GK Hockey School 
July 10 - July 15
Commuter only - extended day

Head Coach Casey Jones and his Division I staff are offering hockey day camp for males and females ages 7-12 that includes specialized goalie instruction, a focus on team concepts and additional lessons in strength and conditioning and skill development. 


Clarkson Volleyball Camp
July 20 - July 23
Commuter and Residential 

Join Coach Carol LaMarche and her conference chanmpionship team players for this camp that will work on individual volleyball player development through small group and one-on-one instruction. 


Golden Knights Baseball Day Camp

Males ages 8-16 can hone their baseball skills with Head Baseball Coach Jim Kane and Clarkson University baseball players as they focus on something for every skill level, including baseball fundamentals, fitness, teamwork and strategies. 


ACADEMIC CAMPS

Young Scholars Program
July 23 - July 29
Residential only

High school students interested in The Clarkson School or boosting their resumes before college should consider this fun, academically stimulating program where teams are given a real-world problem to solve and then the opportunity to present their solutions to a group of Clarkson and community panelists! 


Robotics Day Camp
July 10 - July 14
Commuter only - 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.; 12:30 - 3:30 p.m.

Explore the world of robotics with faculty and students from Clarkson's Northern New York Robotics Academy through a FIRST Lego League challenge game that will be announced at the beginning of camp! The camp is open to students entering grades 4 through 12 in the fall of 2017. 


Robotics Residential Camp
July 16 - July 22
Residential only

Students entering grades 9-12 can get the full overnight camp experience at this fast-paced, secret challenge-based camp that will introduce them to them skills needed to design, build and program a working Robotics Academy Challenge robot! 


MythOlympics Training Camp
July 23 - July 26
Residential only

This competitive, scholarship-based program is jam-packed with team-based activities, demonstrations and myth-busting challenges similar to the "MythBusters" television show. Up to 20 rising freshmen, sophomores and juniors from the North Country region of New York State will be selected as Mytholympians in Training and receive a scholarship to cover the full costs of the camp. 

Horizons I & II
Week 1: July 16 - July 21
Week 2: July 23 - July 28 
Residential Only

Horizons I & II are designed for 7th and 8th grade female students interested in science, technology, engineering or math. The program boasts an exciting and educational experience full of hands-on projects and team building exercises and students must be nominated by someone from their school in order to participate. 

Horizons III
Week 1: July 15 - July 21
Week 2: July 20 - July 28
Residential Only 

Horizons III builds on the first two programs and is designed for females who have already participated in Horizons I & II.
